The application combines a baseplate compass and a bearing compass.
The baseplate compass shows the current heading relative to a fixed point, the location of which can be anywhere on the compass. It also shows the heading relative to the magnetic north, the direction in which the Earth is believed to be facing the application user. The application also shows the current direction of the sun, the moon, and the earth. It also shows the position of the stars, the moon, and the sun at different times of the day.
